Network Intelligence Agent
The BitGuardIT Network Intelligence Capture Agent is a Windows x64 service that your administrators deploy for authorized network visibility. It communicates with BitGuardIT after enrollment. It is not spyware, not a hidden monitor, and not a silent driver installer.
When your organization authorizes capture on a host you control, the agent can provide live traffic metadata to BitGuardIT Network Intelligence for analysis alongside imported PCAPs.
Deployment is an IT decision. BitGuardIT documents requirements instead of hiding them.
Live capture on Windows requires Npcap, installed separately by the customer from the Npcap distributor. BitGuardIT does not bundle or silently install Npcap or other network drivers.
Setup is intended to run with administrator rights. There is no silent end-to-end install of third-party drivers.
Current public agent builds are not marketed as Authenticode-signed production releases. Do not assume a signed executable unless your acquired package states that it is signed.
The agent communicates with BitGuardIT only after the customer completes enrollment. Offline or unenrolled hosts do not silently stream traffic.
